Dear Weeders, Now that we have gotten through the holiday season, we can concentrate on the really important concern of all gardeners, Seed Catalogs!!! This month more than any other is spent by the fire pursuing catalogs and dreaming of gardens to come. Maybe this will be the year your garden outshines everyone else’s or maybe this is the year you design the perfect garden addition or just maybe this is the year you decide to pull everything up and start fresh. No matter which way it ends up, this is the month that fresh ideas will be born, new and unique plants will be chosen and decisions will be made for your whole gardening year. With that being said, we would like to remind you of the Virginia Flower and Garden Show, January 17th–19th at the Virginia Beach Pavilion. We’ll be there (with about 124 other vendors) to bring you the newest, best and most innovative gardening supplies and decorations. We will be bringing small sizes of many unusual tropicals and shrubs-specially propagated for “Plantaholics”. Remember that many of the unusual plants you’ll see in the landscape displays at the show are things we stock all the time. Be sure to stop by our booth and ask if your favorites are available now. If you’re taking down your holiday decorations and want something lush and green to replace them, we just received a new shipment of houseplants. You orchid lovers will be pleased with our wider selection this year. We will be having monthly orchid classes in 2003. Come learn about a new type each month! Great new spring merchandise has already started to arrive in our Garden Center. Large and small decorative wreaths are a particularly good value. New wind chimes are here and are putting the sounds of spring in the air so come by and see us (you never know what’s going to be on the next truck!) We look forward to seeing you at the Flower & Garden Show.
Sincerely,
